I must admit, Yelp is fantastic, but how accurate are those reviews? You only get on there to write a detailed review if you had the worst experience that human could ever experience or you truly thought you died and went to heaven at that restaurant. That may throw your data off and make for a tough time as you are looking for a good place to eat at in the front seat of your car or late at night, the night before (if you are truly the planning type). I want to post accurate, detailed food critiques to really exemplify the herbaceous smells of the Austin streets as chefs all across the city gather with one goal in mind; really slam into our taste buds. In short, I will not be using the fancy jargon that I attempted to use, but instead I will be giving straight-up food reviews on some of the damn good restaurants that I try across the Austin area. I am going to have to consume twice my body weight in food each week to keep y’all up to date. The things I do for this blog, man.
